Voice of color survivors in “Black
As the whole world is striving hard enough to get over the pandemic call, one more salient issue that the nation is addressing is “black lives matter” movement where people are marching forward to stand together for justice and security of the black community. This movement might give color sexual assault survivors a voice to raise and courage to stand against sexual assaults.
This movement is definitely going to give the color survivors a platform to speak for themselves. Moreover survivors should stand for prevention of sexual assault. Such survivors should work as support persons for other victims.
Not only this, the color survivors should take sexual assault as a “zero tolerance act” making it highly condemnable act for the whole community as well as the nation. Also the voices of these survivors will save many more next victims.
The survivors should also realize if the whole nation can get united to fight against color discrimination, then the vicious acts of sexual assaults can also be addressed standing againt it.
